What Do YOU Need?

Often we know what we want but don't know what we NEED to get there.

Let's say for example, you want your extensions higher. So, you vow to spend extra time stretching to improve your flexibility to get your leg up there. But in reality, you don't need to focus on your flexibility. What you need is to build strength in your supporting leg & core.

True story: To get my extensions higher when I was younger, I spent so much time & effort stretching, thinking my hips were just tight and the more I pried my hips apart, the higher my leg would get. Not only did this make my extensions worse, but I ended up with excruciating hip pain & problems -- as in, I felt like a 90-year-old grandma with arthritis. As soon as I started doing special exercises to build strength in my supporting leg side & gain a better understanding of my unique body's anatomy, BAM...improvements in my extensions + no more hip pain!

This is a perfect example of you-don't-know-what-you-don't-know-until-you-know-it. I thought I was being diligent with my flexibility routine & would be rewarded for my hard work. Turns out I was doing more damage than good. If I had someone to coach me & help me understand my body, I might not have wasted so much time destroying my body while getting further from my goals.

Combine that with all the "experts" out there on your social media feed telling you to do this or that...and no wonder you're confused about what to do to make improvements to your body & your ballet. Even I get overwhelmed by all the information out there. There's so much noise bombarding you that you can't hear yourself think.

It's not that these people don't have anything important to say, but if you don’t know how to filter out information, it makes it tough to pick a course of action and stay consistent with it long enough to see results. Or, you feel paralyzed to take action in the first place because you are confused about which path to take. Neither will bring you closer to your goals.

Which brings me to the purpose of this post -- YOU. I want to know what you need in order to better curate content that will help you. What are you struggling with? What are your goals for the coming months? What questions do you have? Who is on the other side of this email? What lights you up? What are you excited about? Drop me a quick email to say "hi," and tell me how I can help you along your path.

On another note, do you have any interest in an elite Bulletproof Ballerina retreat experience -- a weekend getaway where you'll get an in-depth insight into some of my most life-changing concepts & workout techniques?

This is not going to be a hardcore bootcamp where you exercise 23 hours a day and drink nothing but celery juice. Those of you who know me already know that I'm not into the whole work-out-like-a-maniac thing. But I am into having fun, getting out in nature, exploring what our bodies can do, eating delicious food (& wine!), and developing deep connections over shared experiences & struggles.

Yes, a Bulletproof Ballerina workout will be thrown in the mix, along with mobility/stretching work, some nutrition pointers, and lots of fireside chats to discuss mental demons and how to navigate them. To be perfectly honest, this retreat will be just as much about enjoying life as it is about learning & leveling up. If you can improve your body & mindset while having a blast -- why not?

More details coming soon. This is just to see who is interested at this point. So, if this seems like something you would be into, click the link below to email me your thoughts. You'll get more details as they become available. (This doesn't commit you to's just saying you're interested in hearing more!)
